The state government spends its funds through a series of departments, each of
which provides services for the public. Each department is responsible to a
cabinet minister, but has a permanent head as well. This permanent head is a
senior public servant , who usually hold his or her position for many years. On
the other hand, the Cabinet ministers change from time to time, usually as a result

How would you like to be a night zoo keeper?

I would enjoy being a zoo keeper because I enjoy helping animals and taking of care of animals. If I had the chance to be a night zoo keeper I would definitely take the job .

 

Taking care of animals and other creatures is very important to help other living things. I enjoy helping other living things because it makes me feel happy and good about myself.

I believe I deserve to be a night zoo keeper because I get to tour people around the night zoo. I love animals and helping other things. I hope you enjoyed my piece.

Write down 3,6 and 5 so you know what numbers are missing so you can remember what to add together.

Add together 3,6 and 5. That equals 14 so then you write that down that in the blank box.

Question 23: A snail attempts to climb a 4 metre high wall. In one hour it climbs up 2 metres. The next hour it rests and slips back 1 metre. How long does it take to reach the top of the wall if it keeps climbing and slipping in this way.

Prediction: I predict I will need to use addition and subtraction. I also predict that I will need to use my prior knowledge.

Clarify: I have nothing to clarify.

Solution:

1.

First the snail has already climbed 2 metres, then the snail drops 1 metre so in 2 hours it has climbed 1 metre.

2.

The next hour the snail has climbed 2 metres and slips back 1 meter in 1 hour. So the snail has climbed 2 meters in 4 hours.

3.

The next hour it climbs 2 meters which the snail has climbed 4 meters and it took 5 hours to climb the 4 meter wall.

Summary:

The strategy I used was to figure this problem was to break it in to smaller parts.

The class suddenly herd a bang, they wondered what it was, they checked to see if it  happened again it didn’t so they decided to ignore it so they kept on going on with their work. It happened again, they checked everywhere in the room to figure out what happened, someone decided to check the compost bin to see if anything was hitting it, but when she lifted the lid a sudden ” Whoosh” pushed them of their feet it was running to fast to know what it was.

Someone realized that it was a rat because it was grey with a long pink tail, all the girls screamed and jumped on to their chairs and some cried.

Once upon a time snow white was walking in the woods and saw a little cottage, she decided to knock to see if anyone was home as she knocked you would never believe what she  saw 7 dwarfs…

She was amazed at what she had seen such a thing.

She then decided to run home and get food to help the other people in the woods.

She ran back to the cottage and all the dwarfs were gone.

she enjoyed the company of the 7 dwarfs but she will needto come back another time.
